The most important horse in our family, and definitely The Queen of her Domain - "WINGS".
She started her career out as a race horse with a total of 11 lifetime out, 3 wins, 1 second and 4 thirds, having never run for less than stakes or allowance. We purchased her off the track at the end of her 3 year old year and aimed her toward the barrel pen the start of her 4 year old year.
She has earned her permanent place with us. She took us to greater success than we ever imagined in the world of professional rodeo. She won or placed at most of the major PRCA Tour rodeos in the western part of the United States in 2000 and had her rider sitting in the top 20 WPRA standings throughout June of that year, until she sustained a career limiting injury. Even with not being 100% sound, she still won the Turquoise Circuit Finals Rodeo for 2000, but was unable to compete at the Dodge National Circuit Finals due to her soundness problems.. This mare has shown more grit and determination than any other horse we have ever owned. She is bred for race, and has the speed to prove it, but turned her barrels in the manner of a cow horse hunting a cow. She has all this, and is gorgeous to boot.
It is because of these qualities that we bred her to Dash Ta Fame, and we have not been disappointed, as you can see by going to our Stallion page and checking out her colt, WINGS OF FAME.
"RJ" is 1997 gelding who we just purchased to take some pressure of "Wings" as my main barrel horse. He is only 14.2 hands, but moves and runs like a much bigger horse. He is a pleasure to ride, has a quiet attitude and will run or work at any level you want. He is also a finished cutting horse, and started heel/breakaway horse. We are really pleased with this little guy.
BLAZING POWER (pending) is a 2009 AQHA filly by BLAZIN JETOLENA out of VIKING VIXIONS LAST. We got this filly from Randy Rist (part owner of Blazin Jetolena) and Candace Jacobs. The filly was injured and would probably only ever be broodmare sound. As Randy is part owner of Blazin Jetolena, it would not have been advantageous for them to keep the filly, so we obtained her with the thought she would become one of our replacement broodmares in the future.
She is an absolutely gorgeous filly with a baby doll head and the sweetest personality you could ever want in a foal. Her breeding and conformation should make for a super cross with WINGS OF FAME and we don't see how the cross could produce anything other than a superior barrel horse.

ROYAL ME QUICK - Broodmare 5/4/09 - QUICKIE HAS BEEN CHECKED IN FOAL TO 'WINGS OF FAME"
"Quickie" is a 2001 gray broodmare by Royal Quick Dash out of a Reb's Policy mare. She has a 104 speed index and has a 2009 baby by Count Corona at her side. She will be bred back to WINGS OF FAME for her 2010 baby. Quickie is a big, well balanced mare that should add nice foals to our breeding program that can go either to the track or to the barrel pattern.
We are very pleased with Quickie's new baby "NINE O CORONA" He is long legged, balanced and full of energy.
CATHEN KISSES - Broodmare
"Kit Cat" is a 2002 AQHA mare we recently purchased. She has been started nicely on the barrels, and also in the roping pen. She is one of the fastest horses we have ever owned. She is wicked fast with a long stride and quick action. All the correct basics have been instilled in this mare, she has been hauled to numerous junior and high school rodeos and has been used to track cattle out during performances. All the hard work has been done. Just saddle up and go on with her in any direction you want.
We have bred and confirmed this mare in foal to our young stud WINGS OF FAME for a 2010 foal. This should be an awesome cross with speed, turn and brains on both sides.
